Nottingham City is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Locality team in the North. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with individuals and families to assess needs, provide support, and promote positive outcomes within the community. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding vulnerable populations and enhancing their quality of life through effective intervention strategies and resource mobilization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients and developing tailored care plans.
- Engaging with families and individuals to provide emotional and practical support, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in a social work setting, particularly in locality-based roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in assessment and intervention techniques, alongside a solid understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
