Role Overview:
As a Graduate Project Engineer at Sofina Foods, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working alongside experienced engineering professionals. Key Duties:
- You will support the delivery of engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion.
- You will coordinate activities with engineers, contractors and site stakeholders.
- You will help identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and operational performance.
- You will contribute to project planning, implementation and performance tracking.
- You will assist with problem-solving and technical analysis across a variety of engineering challenges.
- You will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed timelines.
- You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to industry best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering.
- Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering principles.
- A strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Adaptable, organised and committed to continuous learning.
Desirable:
- Placement year, internship or industry experience within engineering.
- Experience using engineering software or technical project tools.
