CRA Consulting is pleased to be working alongside a well-established law firm in Nottingham to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor into its growing claimant team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor looking to take ownership of their own caseload, develop their litigation experience and join a friendly and supportive team.
The Opportunity
You will manage a varied caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters, with the role offering exposure to both litigated and more complex claims. The team handles a broad range of Personal Injury work, including RTA, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers’ Liability claims, alongside more complex and substantial matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Progressing litigated Personal Injury claims, including multi-track matters
- Advising clients throughout the claims and litigation process
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules and other legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts and other third parties
- Managing key deadlines and ensuring matters progress effectively
- Taking responsibility for more complex and higher-value claims as your experience develops
- Working closely with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of around 1 year’s PQE, although candidates with relevant experience outside of this will also be considered
- Previous experience handling claimant Personal Injury matters
- Experience of litigated claims and a good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Strong client care and communication skills
- The ability to manage your own caseload and work to deadlines
- A proactive and organised approach
- An interest in developing your expertise and taking on greater responsibility
