LEGAL ASSISTANCE OF WESTERN NEW YORK INC.® (LawNY®) seeks an AmeriCorps Legal Assistant for a 12-month term in Bath, NY. The role includes intake and screening for income-eligible clients seeking civil legal aid and outreach to underserved populations.
Members receive a living allowance of $2,000 monthly for the term, may qualify for health coverage, housing and food assistance, an educational award, childcare expenses, and student loan deferment; renewal may occur based on funding.
