Role: Production Operative

Location: Partridge Green, West Sussex

Hours: Rotating 12-hour shifts, average 42 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on, 3 days off

Day Shift: 5:55am – 6:00pm | Night Shift: 5:55pm – 6:00am

Pay: £16.83 – £18.55 per hour depending on shift

Contract: Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join one of our longstanding clients, an established and growing business based in Partridge Green.

Due to the site’s location, having your own transport is important if you do not live locally.

This is a hands‑on role within a busy production environment, working across a variety of tasks to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.

The Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production or similar practical experience is desirable
• Must be able to work the full rotating day and night shift pattern, including weekends
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Able to follow job cards, drawings and work instructions
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Flexible and willing to learn different production tasks
• Comfortable working as part of a busy team

The Role:

• Carry out a variety of hands‑on production activities
• Complete allocated work safely, accurately and efficiently
• Follow job cards, drawings and production instructions
• Carry out quality checks and identify any defects or issues
• Work across different tasks depending on production requirements
• Attend shift handovers and understand daily priorities
• Report any safety, quality, equipment or material issues
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement
