We offer a range of financial services as well as quality pre‑owned goods, and we aim to make every customer visit straightforward, friendly and fair. Our vision is:

“To have the best looking stores, in the best locations, offering the best service at the best prices.”

We’re now looking for a Store Manager to join our team and take the lead in running one of our stores.

About the role

This is a hands‑on management role where you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of your store.

You’ll lead and support your team, help them develop and perform at their best, and make sure our customers receive the friendly and professional service we’re known for.

You’ll also play an important part in growing the store, spotting opportunities to improve performance and making sure the store is run safely, efficiently and in line with our policies and procedures.

No two days will be exactly the same, so we’re looking for someone who is organized, approachable and comfortable taking responsibility.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the day‑to‑day running of the store.
  • Leading, supporting and motivating your team.
  • Setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Helping your team achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Building good relationships with customers and dealing with queries or complaints professionally.
  • Looking for opportunities to attract new customers and grow the store.
  • Keeping track of store performance, sales and customer trends.
  • Making sure the store is clean, welcoming and presented to a high standard.
  • Completing store administration accurately and on time.
  • Making sure company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Supporting your team with day‑to‑day issues and working with your Area Manager and Head Office when needed.
  • Bringing new ideas and looking for ways to improve the store and customer experience.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and enjoys working with people.

You don’t necessarily need to have worked in our industry before. What’s important to us is that you have the right attitude and are ready to take responsibility for your store and your team.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience of supervising or managing a team, preferably in retail or another customer‑facing environment.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • The confidence to make decisions and deal with situations as they arise.
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to manage your workload.
  • A genuine interest in customer service.
  • The ability to support, motivate and develop others.
  • A reliable and trustworthy approach.
  • A positive, practical and “can do” attitude.

What we offer

  • 28 days’ annual leave, increasing to up to 33 days with length of service.
  • Gifted Leave of up to 28 additional days per year, pro rata for part‑time employees, subject to the scheme’s eligibility criteria and quarterly review.
  • Health Shield, including access to health and wellbeing support and Health Cash Plan benefits.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Employee discount.
  • Bonus opportunities, including performance and quarterly bonus schemes where applicable.

  • Bereavement Leave.

Benefits are subject to the relevant scheme rules and, where applicable, successful completion of probation.
