Learning Support Assisatnt (LASA)

Location: Stevenage

Salary: £19,399 – £27,447 FTE

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am-4.00pm (2.45pm finish Fridays)

Contract: Permanent (temp-to-perm considered)

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

• Support teachers with whole-class learning
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to support behaviour and social development
• Help create a positive, calm, and engaging classroom environment
• Contribute your own skills and interests to enrich learning

The Ideal Candidate

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• Experience with children is desirable but not essential
• Interest in supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Patient, resilient, flexible, and able to remain calm under pressure
