Facilities Operative

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a dynamic team? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us our Facilities Team to deliver a range of customer-focused facilities support and premises services.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake premises audits and inspections;
• ensure that the hospice premises are maintained in a safe and tidy condition;
• assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries;
• undertake a range of porterage duties ensuring that specified room furniture layouts are delivered;
• support all retail outlets;
• provide a first-line access control/security presence at specified properties;
• co-ordinate with contractors where required;
• undertake health and safety duties;
• respond to incidents;
• help our group of volunteer gardeners with various jobs.

Experience Required:

• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience providing facilities support.
• Good handyperson and maintenance experience.
• Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Have a proactive and can-do attitude.
• Calm and professional demeanour.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Work van provided in work hours.
• Free parking on site.
