About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Operative to join a busy team based in Ampthill. As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks as directed by the foreman, ensuring the cabins onsite are clean, tidy and well maintained. You may also be asked to compelte Yard based work ensuring the yard and general area remains clean, tidy and organised.

This is a key role in supporting the daily operations onsite. As a temp – perm opportunity, it provides stable hours Monday – Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties across the yard and cabins osnite
• Assist with painting and basic maintenance tasks
• Support servicing of mobile units as required
• Support the loading and unloading of the cabins safely and efficiently
• Follow instructions from the foreman to complete daily tasks
• Maintain a tidy and organised working environment

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning / Yard Operative / General Mainteance role is essential
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Must have Driving License for this role.
