Customer Service CoordinatorBanbury | £30,000 – £33,000 + Salary Review After 6 Months | Full Time | Permanent

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy and supportive team, providing essential support across customer service, order processing, logistics, inventory and purchasing activities.

The RoleWorking closely with the Customer Service Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring customer enquiries, quotations, orders and deliveries are managed efficiently and accurately. You will act as a central point of contact for customers while supporting inventory management, logistics coordination and general departmental administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries and communications.
  • Preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
  • Processing invoices, credit notes and returns.
  • Monitoring and managing backorders.
  • Coordinating deliveries and resolving shipment issues.
  • Supporting inventory and purchasing activities.
  • Assisting with stock administration and stock accuracy.
  • Preparing freight, customs and import documentation.
  • Maintaining shipment and transport records.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and departmental processes.
  • Providing support and cover for colleagues when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Experience processing customer orders.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Inventory management experience.
  • Knowledge of logistics, distribution or purchasing processes.
  • Experience using Sage and/or SAP.
