Packing Operative

Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting a leading food manufacturing business in Edinburgh as they look to recruit a Warehouse & Packing Operative.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for operating packing machinery, order picking, stock handling and supporting warehouse operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating automated packing equipment
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Stock handling and stock rotation
• Completing operational documentation
• Maintaining quality, food safety and housekeeping standards
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need:

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and reliable approach
• Comfortable with manual handling duties
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Not essential)
• Experience operating FLT equipment (Not essential)

Hours: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 – Rotating weekly with 1 set of nights every 5 weeks
