Sign Maker / Graphic Designer

• Taking client briefs and discussing their signage and design requirements.
• Carrying out site surveys and taking measurements as required.
• Preparing quotes for jobs.
• Ordering materials needed for production.
• Creating original designs and preparing client-supplied artwork using Adobe Illustrator.
• Setting up accurate cut files for vinyl cutting and sign production.
• Operating printers and laminators.
• Producing and finishing signage to a high standard.
• Assisting with sign fitting and installation where required. 3-5 years’ experience in sign making and graphic design.
• A full, valid driving licence – essential for this role.
• Confidence using Adobe Illustrator to create designs and prepare artwork for production.
• Experience setting up cut files and operating printers and laminators.
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
• Strong attention to detail, good organisation and a practical approach to solving problems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sign fitting or installation experience would be an advantage.
