Overview
In this role you drive contract financial performance and governance for multi-disciplinary projects. You will partner with project teams to ensure budgets, invoicing and commercial terms are managed to maximize value and compliance. You’ll contribute to monthly reporting, risk identification and contract variations, supporting decision-making at senior levels. The position sits within Bilfinger UK’s commercial function, aligning with sustainability and efficiency goals across energy, chemicals, pharma, and oil & gas.
Responsibilities
- Provide visibility on contract financial performance via monthly management accounts
- Audit and review processes to identify commercial improvements
- Ensure robust cost controls and alignment with company policies
- Support operations and project teams in contract execution and reporting
- Interface with Business Managers, Invoicing, Accounts, Procurement, Tendering
- Collate startup information for jobs/phases and report financial performance to senior management
- Monitor compliance with contract terms and review invoices for accuracy
- Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and cost/value reports
- Standardize reporting mechanisms and contribute to business case materials
- Interface with Procurement and assist in client reports and KPI performance analysis
- Support development of processes to meet client requirements for cost breakdowns
- Reconciliation and expediting invoice accuracy
