Python Software Engineer Conversational AI

Overview

In this remote-first role, you build and own production-grade AI systems and the infrastructure behind a conversational AI platform. You’ll design scalable backend services and integrate LLMs with third-party tools to deliver reliable workflows. You’ll assess the current stack, modernize architecture, and contribute to the next generation of AI capabilities. You work closely with cross-functional teammates to solve complex problems and drive impact in a scaling AI software company.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade AI and backend services for conversational workflows
• Integrate LLMs and third-party AI tools into scalable production pipelines
• Own technical decisions and influence architecture evolution
• Assess and modernize the technology stack to support future AI capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operate with IaC in AWS-based environments

Key requirements

• Strong backend Python software engineering skills
• Experience putting LLMs into production
• Understanding of conversational AI workflows and supporting infrastructure
• Independence in making technical decisions
• Familiarity with AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, and asynchronous Python
