Overview

In this role you lead engineering teams responsible for Talent & Core HR platforms, delivering scalable enterprise SaaS solutions across recruitment, learning, and core HR. You will shape platform strategy, collaborate with architects and product leaders, and drive SaaS innovations including AI-enabled capabilities. You’ll help modernise the HR technology landscape to enhance colleague experiences and business impact. This is a people-led engineering leadership role at a company undergoing digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams with a culture of collaboration and excellence
• Own the technical roadmap for Recruitment, Talent, Learn, Helpdesk and Core HR platforms to ensure scalability, security, and business alignment
• Partner with Product, Architecture and Engineering leadership to prioritise work and deliver outcomes via agile practices
• Drive SaaS innovation, quarterly releases, platform enhancements, and AI opportunities to improve colleague experiences
• Maintain operational excellence with proactive maintenance, robust support processes, platform reliability, service ownership and DevOps culture

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering complex enterprise SaaS platforms
• Deep Oracle HCM Cloud expertise in large organisations
• Functional knowledge across Recruitment, Talent Management, Learn, Core HR and Helpdesk processes
• Experience modernising platforms, reducing technical debt and enabling end-to-end service ownership
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance strategic initiatives with delivery and support
