Overview
In this placement you support civil engineering projects across roads, streets and multi-disciplinary infrastructure. You will work with Arup teams to deliver high-quality assessments, analyses and designs from early due diligence through construction. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, communicating clearly with clients and colleagues while contributing to sustainable, low-carbon solutions. The role offers exposure to a range of transport and infrastructure projects and the chance to explore digital methods and automation. This is a pathway to shape meaningful infrastructure for communities and the environment.

Responsibilities
- Execute assessments, analysis and design from early stages through to construction for transport and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with wider project teams and specialists with clear communication

Key requirements
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 2D or 3D design software experience (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Engineering assessment and analysis knowledge (hydraulic modelling, soil mechanics, structural analysis)
