DevOps Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to a rapidly growing cloud-centric product and service environment within the KAM unit. You will help build scalable, reliable hosted offerings and drive secure, observable software delivery. You’ll manage CI/CD and automation across multi-cloud platforms, collaborating with security teams to improve pipelines and runbooks. You will champion DevOps practices across the organization, shaping roadmaps and operational playbooks. This is a UK-remote opportunity with a mission to enable safe, efficient access solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Operate and configure cloud-centric product and service offerings with emphasis on resiliency, reliability, and scalability
• Develop and enhance SaaS products focusing on reliability, observability, and secure delivery
• Manage and improve CI/CD platforms and build pipelines, automating code build, testing, deployment, and wider delivery processes with security collaboration
• Automate infrastructure, VMs, and containerised environments across multiple cloud solutions
• Promote DevOps culture, practices, and automation; identify improvements and contribute to delivery roadmaps
• Maintain and automate runbooks and playbooks for efficient, reliable platform operations

Key requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure as a public cloud; AWS knowledge beneficial for multi-cloud
• IaC/configuration management: Terraform/OpenTofu required; Ansible, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep advantageous
• Foundational infrastructure concepts: VMs, Serverless Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases
• CI/CD pipelines and automation experience; GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions; scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash
• Containerised workloads and orchestration: Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS, Docker; Kubernetes and Helm desirable
