Senior Public Health Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead public health design across projects and RIBA stages within a growing MEP consultancy. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical and BIM teams and interface with clients, driving technical quality and delivery. You will manage your own workload, take ownership, and mentor junior engineers as the team expands. This is a chance to shape a growing Public Health function and contribute to a diverse portfolio including hotels, residential and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities

• Lead the public health design on projects across all RIBA stages
• Produce detailed designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and BIM teams
• Attend client and design team meetings
• Oversee junior engineers where required
• Manage workload and programme delivery autonomously
• Represent the discipline within multidisciplinary teams

Key requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Public Health design within building services
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer in a UK-based MEP consultancy
• Strong understanding of UK regulations, standards and best practice
• Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously
• Strong coordination and communication skills
