Production Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a large-scale, fast-paced production operation to deliver high-quality products on time. Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll manage Shift Managers and a sizeable team of operators and technicians on site. You’ll drive safety, performance, and profitable growth while guiding continuous improvement across the site. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative food manufacturing environment, offering development and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety for all colleagues and drive safety improvements
• Maintain a balanced scorecard of KPIs to support site growth
• Maximise profits and drive performance improvements
• Lead and develop a team via Continuous Improvement initiatives and colleague engagement

Key requirements

• Proven operational management experience in a large-scale, fast-paced production setting, ideally in food manufacturing
• Track record of delivering results through leadership, motivation, and development of managers
• Experience coaching managers to improve operational performance
• Good working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and how to apply them in business
