Digital Product Owner

Overview

In this Digital Product Owner role, you will shape and deliver digital products that drive value for customers and colleagues in a fast-paced transformation. You will voice the customer, collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners to prioritise and deliver the right solutions. The role focuses on data-driven decision making, product thinking and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. You will work in a large organisation undergoing digital transformation, contributing to meaningful customer outcomes and operational performance. This is an opportunity to influence strategic priorities within a cross-functional team and mature product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the product backlog to maximise customer and business value
• Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories
• Use customer feedback, analytics and research to inform decisions
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Delivery Leads and external partners
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
• Support user testing and continuous improvement to optimise performance and UX
• Make data-driven decisions to guide priorities and measure success

Key requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar in Agile, Scrum or SAFe
• Strong backlog management and user story writing
• Ability to gather requirements and translate into product solutions
• Understanding of data, analytics and using insights to shape decisions
• Experience working with technical, architecture teams and external suppliers
• Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence
• Experience of user testing, customer research and product analytics
