Site Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage Morrisons’ large-scale logistics site in Bradford, leading a site leadership team to deliver reliable service and product availability. You will drive productivity, cost control and performance targets, while creating a people-first culture. You will engage with stakeholders up to Executive Board level to build strong relationships and deliver continuous improvement. This is a high-impact role at a food retail and manufacturing leader, offering clear progression and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site leadership team to meet service levels and product availability
• Drive productivity, cost control and performance targets for the site
• Manage a large-scale logistics operation with a focus on efficiency and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth site operations
• Engage with stakeholders up to Executive Board level to align on priorities

Key requirements

• Experience at Site Manager/Director level in a Logistics/Distribution business
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices to run a world-class operation
• Strong leadership to foster a people-driven culture and a personable approach
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to drive performance improvement and generate innovative ideas
• Ability to build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders including Executive Board
