Projects Manager

Overview

As Projects Manager you will oversee multi-stream retrofit work on social housing sites, delivering finish-to-start quality for client requirements. You will operate within a growth-focused contractor, supporting decarbonisation and fuel-poverty reduction across the North West. You will manage planning, on-site issues, and communications with clients and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered on time and to spec. This role offers hands-on control of build programmes, health & safety oversight, and team coordination across trades. You will contribute to a pipeline-driven, quality-led delivery culture that scales with the company’s expansion.

Responsibilities

• Embed client requirements across projects to ensure added value and trust
• Support the Site Manager with on-site issues
• Regularly liaise with clients and represent the company
• Attend senior management meetings to review site progression
• Identify build-ability and design issues and address them
• Manage Health & Safety oversight on projects
• Plan and programme all works and develop build programmes
• Recruit staff and organise trades and labour
• Monitor and drive KPI achievement

Key requirements

• Strong background in social housing refurbishment or decarbonisation
• Experience working under PAS regulations
• CSCS certification
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Driver’s License
• Retrofit project experience
