Buyside Implementation Manager – Bloomberg Buyside Solutions

Overview

In this role you enable buy-side clients to onboard onto Bloomberg AIM, configuring the platform to fit their trading, risk, and operations workflows. You collaborate with sales, product, and clients to deliver end-to-end implementation, including scoping, governance, and user training, while driving adoption and best practices. You work across front-, middle-, and back-office solutions to ensure a smooth go-live and sustained usage, shaping client operating models and delivering measurable onboarding value.

Responsibilities

• Onboard clients onto Bloomberg Buy-Side Solutions
• Create and own detailed project plans and govern projects across stakeholders
• Support implementation with Sales, Account Management and Product Development
• Clarify complex client requirements to define milestones and timelines
• Manage client expectations for a smooth onboarding experience
• Coordinate multiple implementation projects with varied asset classes and workflows
• Understand and design the client’s Bloomberg target operating model
• Partner with Sales for scoping, requirements gathering and solution design
• Influence industry best practices for investment management workflows
• Develop strategies to increase usage by go-live and beyond
• Provide expertise across the investment lifecycle
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of AIM and related solutions (e.g., PORT)
• Advocate for the product to boost adoption during and after implementation

Key requirements

• Excellent project scoping and project management skills

• Deep knowledge of portfolio management, order management, trading, compliance, and operations workflows for institutional managers
