Overview

In this role you will service and repair battery equipment on customer sites, ensuring safety, cost efficiency and quality. You will follow planned maintenance schedules and manage on-board van stock to support fleet readiness. You’ll diagnose faults to component level and complete administrative paperwork within deadlines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and customers to uphold Crown’s safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Service and repair battery equipment at customer sites in line with Health & Safety and Quality procedures
  • Monitor and count van stock to support day-to-day maintenance of the fleet
  • Inspect, repair, quote for battery equipment and associated accessories
  • Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, purchase requisitions and parts paperwork
  • Maintain and safeguard equipment and tooling (van, laptop, tablet, etc.) and ensure safety for the work
  • Adhere to strict planned schedules and deadlines
  • Diagnose faults to component level

Key requirements

  • Knowledge of at least two areas from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics, or battery, charger & battery change systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficient in fault finding and repair
  • GCSE English and maths (grade C)
  • Experience with Health & Safety requirements in a workshop environment
  • Commitment to continuous personal and professional development
