React Developer Senior / Lead

Overview

In this role you will own the frontend for a core product and lead the architecture of front-end applications. You will work with product and design to deliver accessible, responsive interfaces and integrate with backend APIs and real-time data. As a hands-on Lead React Developer, you’ll set technical direction, build scalable pipelines, and mentor junior developers. Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of front-end applications using React
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into polished UIs
• Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs, payment flows, and real-time data
• Make critical technical decisions on tooling, architecture, and build/release pipelines
• Mentor junior front-end developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices
• Maintain performance, maintainability, and scalability across web products
• Stay hands-on with code while guiding the front-end direction

Key requirements

• Lead or senior Front End Engineer / Developer with advanced React skills
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with component-driven architecture and state management (Redux, Context API)
• Experience building responsive, cross-browser, high-performance web apps at scale
• Ability to own decisions and work in a start-up/scale-up environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
