Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will support the commercial management of multiple live facade projects, typically around 1–5m in value. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, Project Managers and Site Managers to drive cost control, reporting and contract administration. The position offers hybrid working and a clear path to senior commercial roles within a growing specialist façade business. You will contribute to shaping commercial outcomes across a range of high-profile projects across the UK. This is a long-term role with strong progression opportunities in a niche sector.

• Estimating and cost planning
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Commercial reporting
• Valuations and applications for payment
• Managing and valuing variations
• Final accounts
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Supporting JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts
• Attending client and site meetings
• Collaborating with Project & Site Managers

Key requirements

• Recent Quantity Surveying graduates
• Candidates studying towards QS/construction qualification
• Assistant/Junior QS with 2–3+ years’ experience
• Experienced QS with façade, cladding or specialist construction background
