Corporate Director (Insurance)- Mid Sized City firm

Overview

In this role you will lead corporate activity in the insurance space within a fast-growing City firm. You will work closely with the insurance practice to drive strategic deals and restructurings, including M&A and joint ventures, while also handling portfolio transfers. You will provide Regulatory and PRA/FCA advisory support to insurers, brokers, MGAs and reinsurers. Responsibilities

• Lead insurance-focused corporate transactions: M&A, JVs, restructurings
• Manage portfolio transfers within the insurance space
• Provide PRA/FCA regulatory and compliance advisory
• Advise insurers, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers and other FCA-regulated entities
• Support deal structuring and negotiation within a UK law firm environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex insurance deals

Key requirements

• E&W qualified solicitor with at least 6 years PQE in corporate law within the insurance sector
• UK law firm experience
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory framework (PRA/FCA)
