Overview
In this role you will help clients harness AI to transform security operations while ensuring AI systems are secure by design. You’ll design AI-powered security architectures, embed security into AI pipelines, and guide governance, with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management. You will work with cross‑functional teams to win opportunities, shape solutions, and advance Accenture’s Secure AI capabilities. The role combines deep security architecture with commercial acumen to differentiate Accenture in AI security at scale.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to identify, shape, and qualify opportunities in AI-driven security and the security of AI systems
- Architect AI-powered security solutions covering threat detection, SIEM/SOAR modernization, anomaly detection, incident response, and predictive risk modelling
- Define security architectures for AI pipelines, data platforms, model registries, and inference environments
- Advise on applying AI to IAM including intelligent access governance, AI-driven PAM, anomaly detection, and ITDR; manage identities within AI systems (machine and non-human)
- Assess and mitigate AI-specific risks such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model theft, and supply chain vulnerabilities
- Support clients in navigating AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and mature AI governance frameworks
- Develop proposals, architectures, and business cases to articulate Accenture’s value
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as a credible advisor across security and AI domains
- Contribute to bids, pursuits, and practice-building activities including thought leadership and go-to-market efforts
Key requirements
- Deep security architecture experience spanning security operations, cyber defence, and AI or cloud platforms
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in security (threat detection, behavioural analytics, anomaly detection, predictive risk modelling)
- Knowledge of securing AI systems (AI pipelines, MLOps, data platform security, model registries, inference endpoints)
- Experience with AI-specific threats and controls (adversarial robustness, data integrity, model theft, supply chain security)
- Solid grounding in IAM (PAM, IGA, ITDR, machine/non-human identity governance)
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk) and SOAR tooling
- Awareness of AI governance frameworks and standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act)
- Strong commercial acumen with bid/support experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, cloud security, or AI/ML security) are advantageous
