Overview

As a Chartered Structural Engineer at senior level, you will lead projects and a design team within a growing structural consultancy. You’ll work closely with directors, overseeing delivery for high-end residential schemes and related sectors, including basements and multi-storey refurbishments, while mentoring graduates. You will be involved in concept design, surveys, reports and the commercial side of projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

• Lead projects and design teams, with responsibility for delivery and client relationships
• Mentor graduates and develop junior staff
• Hands-on design at concept level and feasibility studies
• Perform surveys and prepare reports
• Involved in project financials such as invoicing and pricing
• Manage projects from inception to completion
• Oversee temporary works design where applicable
• Collaborate with directors and contribute to business development

Key requirements

• Chartered engineer

• Strong design capability
