In this role you will partner with senior leaders to steer financial performance across the Retail, Leisure & CPS sector within the Cleaning Business Unit. You’ll lead a small team of Finance Business Partners, delivering insightful analysis, robust forecasting, and strategic business support. Your work shapes commercial decisions, cost efficiency, and margin improvement across multi-site operations. Responsibilities

• Direct strategic and commercial leadership to influence sector direction and financial outcomes
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the sector
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to ongoing initiatives
• Lead and mentor a small Finance Business Partner team
• Translate financial data into actionable decisions for stakeholders
• Drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and revenue growth initiatives
• Deliver timely financial reporting and analysis; monitor risks and KPIs
• Support month-end and year-end processes with the broader finance team
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies, and procedures; support audits and risk management

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
• Experience in a senior finance business partnering role
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Experience in a multi-site or service-based business (desirable)
