In this role you will help design, develop and support aircraft systems across mechanical, electrical and fluid disciplines. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle, from requirements to certification and in-service support. Responsibilities
- Support the full product lifecycle: requirements, design, modelling, testing, integration, qualification and certification
- Develop and support aircraft flight systems across mechanical, electrical and fluid disciplines
- Provide technical support to customers, investigating and resolving issues for optimal system performance
- Assist manufacturing and build-line activities, resolving technical challenges
- Produce and maintain Flight Systems engineering documentation and data per standards
- Utilise analysis and modelling tools to assess system performance and support development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to implement engineering solutions
- Support multiple projects and platforms to meet quality, cost and schedule targets
Key requirements
- STEM qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- Experience in aerospace or similarly complex environment
- Strong technical and analytical abilities to apply design data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn specialist tools
- Experience in design, development, analysis, integration or support of complex systems
- Understanding of engineering lifecycles and systems engineering principles
