Supply Chain Quality Management – Placement Year

Overview

As a placement student in Supply Chain Quality Management, you will support supplier performance and quality processes within a global network. You will engage with suppliers, customers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Your role combines data handling, escalation management and early-stage process development in a world-class automotive environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the logistics and quality function while gaining practical, industry-wide insight. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to help shape the SCQ landscape in Goodwood.

Responsibilities

• Organise escalation meetings with suppliers and coordinate actions
• Distribute and close out Complaint Reports and 8D reports
• Maintain supplier contact databases and SCQ activity records
• Support special projects to develop SCQ within the logistics department

Key requirements

• Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree with a 2:2 or above
• Understanding and interest in digitalisation and IT systems
• Excellent communication skills
