Senior Agile Delivery Manager

Overview

In this role you will own end-to-end delivery for multiple engineering squads within a cloud-based SaaS portfolio, bringing clarity and predictability to complex multi-team work. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and fellow Agile Delivery Managers to drive delivery across features, platform initiatives, and operational work. The position emphasizes high ownership, hands-on contribution, and alignment with a scalable, global delivery model. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for 3–4 engineering squads with clear priorities and predictable outcomes.
• Understand roadmaps, capacity, constraints, and performance of each squad.
• Lead delivery across features, technical debt, platform improvements, and incidents.
• Ensure readiness through structured backlogs, aligned objectives, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate dependencies and risks across 30+ global squads; manage sequencing and alignment for transversal initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-squad forums and maintain RAID logs and delivery boards.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote lean, scalable delivery practices across teams and regions.
• Support iterative planning, estimation, and forecasting.
• Identify and manage technical risks, platform dependencies, and environment constraints in collaboration with leads and architects.
• Feed post-incident learnings into delivery plans; prioritise resilience initiatives.
• Provide clear progress updates and engage with senior stakeholders; act as primary delivery partner for Product Managers and Engineering Leads.
• Shape delivery practices and use metrics to drive improvement; support tooling adoption (Jira, Confluence, Miro).

Key requirements

• Proven Agile Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead, or Senior Scrum Master in a tech-first or SaaS environment.
• Experience managing delivery for multiple squads simultaneously (3–5 teams).
• Strong SDLC understanding and modern engineering practices.
• Hands-on coordinating delivery in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with microservices, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, and modern cloud architectures.
• Experience supporting incident response and post-incident delivery.
• Ability to identify and manage cross-team dependencies in scaled engineering organizations.
• Strong experience with Jira & Confluence and/or other delivery reporting tools.
