In this leadership role, you will head the Nuclear Security function within Nuclear Services, guiding security governance across multi-site operations and projects. You’ll collaborate with executive stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and high security standards, while building trusted relationships with regulators and government bodies. You’ll shape security strategy, lead a cross-disciplinary team, and drive continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Nuclear Security team (cyber and physical security) to foster accountability and development
• Deliver on strategic business priorities and ensure alignment with site licence requirements and regulations
• Provide security oversight and assurance across Nuclear Services operations and projects
• Build effective relationships with regulators, government bodies, and senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with security teams across fleet and new-build programmes to maintain standards and best practices
• Work with delivery functions in Nuclear Services to drive security integration and outcomes

Key requirements

• Effective people management with an inclusive leadership style
• Strong stakeholder management with internal executives and external regulators and government officials
• Executive-level collaboration across functions, sites, and business areas
• Proven delivery experience in agile environments
• Knowledge of relevant security legislation and high-risk security operations
• Experience in a highly regulated industry with organisation-wide security strategy development
• Commercial awareness and budget responsibility
• Eligibility for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and potential relocation to Gloucester for emergency scheme role
