Senior Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you drive data analytics to support the IBP process, demand forecasting, and leadership decision-making across Commercial, Fulfillment, Demand Planning, Operations, and Supply Chain. You translate complex data into actionable insights and maintain KPI dashboards to support strategic initiatives. You work closely with cross-functional teams to align demand, supply, inventory, and financial targets, contributing to service, inventory health, and performance improvements. The role offers the opportunity to shape planning processes in a global manufacturing context and to advance analytics maturity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for Supply Chain and Business Leadership Teams
• Deliver concise insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Develop and maintain leadership KPI scorecards and dashboards
• Provide trend analyses, risk assessments, and performance forecasts
• Support annual planning, strategic reviews, and transformation initiatives
• Translate complex datasets into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations
• Lead analytical support for the monthly IBP cycle (Demand, Supply, Inventory reviews)
• Prepare and analyze demand, supply, inventory, service, capacity, and financial performance data
• Develop IBP dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting
• Provide scenario modelling and what-if analyses for business decisions
• Identify supply chain risks, opportunities, and performance gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure alignment between demand plans, supply plans, inventory strategies, and financial targets
• Facilitate customer SKU-level demand analysis across key customers, channels, and markets
• Own analysis of customer forecasts, demand trends, and consumption patterns
• Lead forecast accuracy and bias analysis at customer, product, and SKU levels
• Conduct root-cause analysis of forecast variances and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Commercial, and Demand Planning teams to review demand assumptions
• Challenge and validate customer forecast submissions through data-driven insights
• Support demand consensus with analytical recommendations and exception reporting
• Ensure customer demand plans are reflected in the IBP process
• Develop customer demand performance dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership reviews
• Highlight significant customer demand changes impacting service, inventory, capacity, or financial performance
• Analyze end-to-end supply chain performance, monitor service levels, inventory health, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and plan adherence
• Identify opportunities to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and improve working capital
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis
• Measure benefits from supply chain projects
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics solutions
• Automate reporting processes and improve data accessibility
• Ensure data governance and accuracy of supply chain and commercial data
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to improve data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
• Support implementation of advanced analytics, predictive forecasting, and AI-enabled planning tools

Key requirements

• Relevant Degree or equivalent within a business discipline — preferably Maths / Finance
• English language, spoken and written essential
• Able communicator at all levels of the organisation
• Power BI experience
• Strong technical skill in SAP, Word, Excel, Power Point
• Data visualization tools desirable but not required
• Financial accounting desirable
• Automation experience desirable
