Associate Manager – Endur Business Analyst (Commodity Trading Industry)

Overview

In this role you will bridge business and technology to support energy trading capabilities. You will partner with traders, operations, risk, and technology teams to deliver, enhance and run trading platforms, especially OpenLink Endur. You’ll lead analysis, design target-state processes, and drive optimisations across front-to-back trading workflows. This role combines domain expertise with delivery leadership in transformation programmes and platform upgrades. You will contribute to Accenture’s energy practice and cross-functional initiatives while advancing sustainability-driven trading improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as functional lead for trading capabilities or process domains
• Lead business analysis activities: requirements gathering, process modelling, workshops, stakeholder engagement
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Understand front-to-back trading processes to bridge business and tech teams
• Support Endur and trading platform implementations, upgrades, migrations
• Participate in testing: SIT, UAT, defect triage
• Assist data migration, cutover planning and business readiness
• Manage functional backlogs and delivery priorities
• Facilitate governance forums and cross-functional delivery coordination
• Collaborate with traders, operations, risk, tech and vendors to enhance trading capabilities
• Support production issue analysis and root cause investigations
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and industry insights within Accenture’s Energy & Natural Resources community

Key requirements

• 6+ years in business analysis, technology delivery, consulting or related fields
• Strong BA experience in commodity/energy trading or capital markets
• Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management platforms, preferably OpenLink Endur
• Understanding of front-to-back trading processes (trade capture, risk, settlements, invoicing, reporting)
• Experience documenting functional and non-functional requirements; creating process maps and user stories
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions
• Experience supporting end-to-end programme delivery across analysis to transition into service
• Experience with trading platform implementations, upgrades, migrations or enhancements
• Experience data migration, reconciliation and cutover activities
• Strong analytical/problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Desirable: Endur knowledge; gas, power, LNG, environmental products trading; service mobilisation; data & AI applications in trading
