Financial Analyst, UKI, GBO Finance

Overview

As a Financial Analyst for UK and Ireland, you translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders. You’ll own market data infrastructure, build scalable data pipelines, and deliver dashboards to enable decision-making. You’ll drive FP&A processes across budgeting, forecasting, and OpEx management, while identifying automation opportunities to improve speed and accuracy. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you help shape AI-enabled finance capabilities and sustainable growth for Google’s GBO.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards using SQL and sales tools
• Perform end-to-end FP&A tasks including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational context
• Drive weekly trading reviews, annual planning, quota setting, and OpEx management to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Identify and automate bottlenecks in reporting using SQL, Python, or AI tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business insights and streamline core financial processes
• Support UKI, the largest market in the EMEA region, with data-driven insights and scalable financial solutions

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field
• 4 years of FP&A, consulting, or related experience
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A in a multinational company
• Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
