Overview
In this role you contribute to early psychosis participant assessments and evaluate CBD as a potential treatment within a clinical trial. You will join ongoing international research and have opportunities to develop your own academic and clinical interests. The position sits in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital and is funded for three years, with part-time options. You will work closely with a renowned research group focused on psychosis mechanisms and novel treatments.

Responsibilities
- Assess participants in early psychosis and healthy controls
- Contribute to evaluating CBD as a treatment in a clinical trial
- Engage with ongoing projects and develop personal academic/clinical interests
- Collaborate with cross-functional research teams on study protocols and data collection
Key requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and Foundation training completed
- Demonstrable strong interest in psychiatric research
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage difficult-to-engage participants
- Desirable: MRCPsych or equivalent
