Overview
As Change Manager in the Transformation Office, you will help deliver and embed strategic change across the university. You’ll work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape adoption, engagement, and readiness for transformation programmes. You will design and deliver change management plans, engage stakeholders, and coach sponsors to build confidence and capability. This role offers exposure to high-profile initiatives and a collaborative culture that prioritises sustainable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver change management plans aligned with transformation programmes
- Lead stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and sponsor roadmaps
- Coordinate communications activities and strategies to manage resistance
- Coach and support sponsors and leaders through the change journey
- Contribute to the Change Community of Practice and Transformation Network
- Deliver training, coaching, tools, and guidance to empower colleagues to lead change
- Collaborate with senior leaders, academic colleagues, services teams and external partners
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and tools; Prosci is the chosen methodology
- Experience as a change manager on transformation projects or similar environments
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, tact, diplomacy and perseverance
