Responsibilities

• Project manage fire engineering assignments with the team
• Support building design aspirations and architectural form during design
• Engage in client care and consultancy on projects
• Oversee financial performance, invoicing and monitoring of projects
• Represent the Fire Engineering team at design meetings
• Specify fixed fire protection systems (detection and/or suppression)
• Perform and review fire engineering calculations, including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis

Key requirements

• Experience as a lead fire engineer on multiple projects
• Higher education qualification in engineering or a fire safety subject
• Proven ability to deliver fire and life safety designs for UK-based projects
• Track record of obtaining agreement for prescriptive and performance-based solutions
