Court of Protection Associate- Global City law firm

Overview

In this role you support a highly regarded Court of Protection practice within a global City law firm, handling complex deputyships across adults and children in the private wealth space. You will draft Court of Protection applications and Deputy Reports, and coordinate with clinical negligence and personal injury teams on litigated matters. The role offers mentorship and a clear path for progression within a respected team with a global outlook. You will contribute to high-value work and shape outcomes in deputyships and related trusts.

Responsibilities

• Manage deputyships and related property and affairs matters for adults and children
• Draft applications to the Court of Protection and annual Deputy Reports
• Coordinate with clinical negligence and personal injury teams on litigated cases
• Oversee deputyships and personal injury trusts within a private wealth context
• Collaborate within a highly regarded, globally oriented team

Key requirements

• 1-4 PQE (England & Wales or Commonwealth qualified)
• strong Court of Protection experience within a specialised team
• experience with deputyships and related trusts
• ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams
