Overview

In this Local Business Manager role, you’ll be the local face of Nationwide’s Business Banking, building trusted relationships with business customers and community networks to identify and progress opportunities. You’ll own the customer journey from onboarding to ongoing servicing, balancing needs with risk guidelines and escalating where needed. You’ll support branch colleagues and connect customers with specialist teams to help them start, run and grow their business. Responsibilities

• Support customers across the relationship lifecycle from onboarding to servicing and complex needs
• Develop and deepen customer relationships, understanding ambitions and referring to appropriate teams
• Make lending decisions within delegated authority after training, and escalate for specialist support as required
• Coach and enable branch colleagues to build Business Banking knowledge and confidence
• Balance customer outcomes with risk management and regulatory compliance while delivering accurate service
