Test Automation Lead

Overview

In this role you will lead QA and automation efforts across Agile teams, shaping the QA strategy and automation roadmap. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams to drive standards, implement scalable automation, and integrate tests into CI/CD. You will mentor the QA team, remove blockers, and ensure robust QA documentation. This position offers impact in accelerating quality across the product and advancing automation maturity within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and automation initiatives across Agile teams
• Partner with Product Owners, Developers, and Scrum teams to define QA strategy and roadmap
• Drive automation framework development, standards, and best practices
• Prioritize QA activities, remove blockers, provide status updates, and maintain QA documentation
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor QA team members and provide automation leadership

Key requirements

• Strong Quality Engineering and Test Automation background
• Hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid, and BDD frameworks
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to work independently and lead automation teams
