Senior Associate – Real Estate

Overview

In this role you will join Mills & Reeve’s Residential Real Estate team in London to handle high-value property matters and contribute to a market-leading private wealth sector. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues across the firm to support a diverse client base, including HNW individuals and family offices. The role offers opportunities to shape the team’s growth and expand services during an exciting expansion phase. You will bring commercial judgment, strong drafting, and relationship-building to deliver outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value residential property work for a diverse client base
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, family offices, intermediaries and advisers
• Draft clear, logical documents and provide tailored advice with commercial judgment
• Collaborate across the firm to support cross-office work and holistic private wealth matters
• Contribute to the growth and expansion of the residential real estate offering
• Apply knowledge of the Building Safety Act and its impact on residential transactions

Key requirements

• Proven experience in high-value residential property work at a high-calibre firm
• Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and its impact on residential transactions
• Direct client contact and ability to develop relationships with clients and advisers
• Excellent written English and drafting ability
• Strong communication, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
• Effective time and matter management and a systematic approach to work
