Overview
In this role you will lead prioritisation, user stories and delivery within the Claims domain as part of Hastings Direct’s transformation agenda. You will work with senior stakeholders and project teams to deliver a fast-paced portfolio of change, shaping how claims are processed for millions of customers. The role sits at the heart of the Claims Transformation effort, offering scope to influence delivery pace, quality and value. You will join a cross-functional team that values collaboration and impact.

Responsibilities
- Prioritise product backlog aligned to business strategy and customer, colleague, and commercial priorities
- Create and write acceptance criteria for user stories; review and approve test scripts for in-track and regression testing
- Coordinate full end-to-end testing (OAT) and provide evidence to support deployment decisions
- Ensure requirements are captured, documented and communicated per approved methodology
- Lead sprint planning and communicate outcomes to product owners and business owners
- Develop expertise in Guidewire within the portfolio of change
- Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders and business owners to gather and clarify requirements
- Oversee change delivery to support the Claims Transformation agenda
Key requirements
- Experience in Agile environments and understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Software and systems process design, documentation, development and maintenance
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of Guidewire core platform
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to drill down into stakeholder requirements
