Overview

In this role you will own selected indirect categories and drive end-to-end sourcing to generate savings and value in a PE-backed, internationally oriented services business. You will work with Finance, Operations, IT and HR to embed procurement, strengthen category delivery, and build strategic supplier partnerships. The role offers variety across IT, Professional Services, BPO, Facilities and HR, with scope to influence procurement strategy and contribute to value creation. You will partner with the UK&I Head of Procurement to mature processes and reporting while delivering compliant, value-for-money contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end tenders and negotiations to drive savings and contract improvements
  • Develop category plans aligned with regional and global priorities and identify opportunities to consolidate demand
  • Build and manage supplier partnerships, including performance, renewals and risk management
  • Influence stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT and HR to shape requirements and provide commercial guidance
  • Develop procurement solutions for client requirements that deliver compliant, value-for-money contracts
  • Support overall management of the Procurement and Business Services team and strengthen stakeholder engagement
  • Improve procurement maturity by refining processes, tooling and reporting
  • Own selected indirect categories and manage sourcing projects from engagement to contract award and supplier management

Key requirements

  • Five years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
  • Strong grounding in indirect categories with a track record of savings and supplier management
  • Experience in a services or outsourcing environment; international/matrix exposure advantageous
  • Commercially sharp, pragmatic and hands-on with ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without authority
