Overview
In this role you guide large‑scale, customer‑facing SaaS and internal platforms, shaping architecture across a multi‑product portfolio. You translate product strategy into practical, scalable designs while balancing speed, reliability, and cost. You work closely with Product Management and Engineering leaders to drive unified direction and architectural governance. You stay hands‑on through prototypes and code, leading by example and delivering high‑quality, secure solutions. This role offers impact across Corporate and Health divisions, contributing to strategic technology planning and product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex architectural initiatives with autonomy across a portfolio of products
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment and reuse
- Be hands‑on with code, prototypes, and PoCs to validate decisions
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to translate strategy into executable architecture
- Define and evolve architectural standards and reference patterns with pragmatic governance
- Lead architecture reviews and balance standards with delivery needs
- Ensure designs are scalable, secure, and cost‑effective across platforms and services
Key requirements
- Experience designing and evolving large‑scale SaaS platforms
- Strong cloud‑native expertise (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and API‑first design
- Knowledge of distributed systems, resiliency, observability, and data‑intensive integrations
- Ability to code, review PRs, build prototypes, and validate decisions hands‑on
- Security, compliance, and reliability focus including identity and data protection
- Engineering leadership, mentoring, and ability to communicate trade‑offs to diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
