Overview

As a Cyber Incident Response Advisory and Incident Management leader, you will steer both proactive and reactive services to help clients mature their cyber resilience. You’ll lead advisory engagements, manage live responses, and mentor teams within a diverse cyber practice. The role blends business development with hands-on incident management in a high-stakes, transformation-focused environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful security and privacy programs at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of cyber incident response engagements with clients
  • Manage advisory engagements and live incident responses in an incident management capacity
  • Drive business development activities, including go-to-market initiatives, proposals and pitches
  • Build and nurture relationships with response clients
  • Coach and train team members to grow capabilities
  • Develop new and existing cyber incident response services
  • Increase the eminence of the Deloitte Cyber practice and engage high-profile clients
  • Foster an inclusive team culture and recognize diverse contributions

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in incident management or crisis management
  • Deep understanding of cyber incident response concepts, attacker techniques, and threat themes
  • Experience writing incident response plans and playbooks
  • Experience leading incident response exercises, wargames, and training sessions
  • Track record delivering complex projects with program, project, financial and people management
  • Experience in leading business development in the private sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business processes and enabling technology
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences (including C-Suite)
