Overview
In this role you will plan, coordinate and deliver procurement projects to support client strategies and major programmes. You will manage end-to-end procurements and Acquisition Strategy workstreams, maintain governance and reporting, and align cross-workstream activities. You help ensure timely procurement documentation and business cases, contribute to major procurement planning, and monitor benefits alignment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver direct procurements and Acquisition Strategy workstreams end-to-end
- Maintain tender schedules, timelines, risk registers and weekly progress reports
- Coordinate trust engagement and cross-workstream alignment
- Ensure procurement documents, business cases, and governance submissions are on time
- Support development of procurement plans for major procurements and resource modelling
- Oversee alignment with PA23 benefits, integrated plan and client strategies
- Produce weekly progress reporting at programme and procurement level
Key requirements
- Procurement project management experience on major programmes
- Strong PMO, planning and risk management capability
- Knowledge of public contract regulations and compliant procurement processes
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder environments
- Project management qualification (Prince2/APM) desirable
- MCIPS desirable
- Exposure or understanding of PA23 desirable
