Overview

In this role you support live quantitative trading across prediction, equity, and crypto markets, ensuring reliable operations and efficient processes. You will work with traders, developers, and counterparties to resolve issues, deploy strategies, and improve monitoring and automation. The position offers exposure to fast-moving markets and the chance to optimize production trading workflows. You will help shape robust trading operations within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor live trading systems, strategies, orders, positions, P&L, and risk
  • Serve as first line of support for trading, execution, exchange connectivity, and production issues
  • Investigate and resolve order/position/P&L/reconciliation and trading-system exceptions
  • Coordinate with traders, developers, exchanges, brokers, and counterparties to resolve live trading issues
  • Support strategy deployments, system releases, testing, and production changes
  • Monitor exchange/market events, outages, connectivity issues, and operational risks
  • Analyze trading and operational metrics to identify issues and improve processes
  • Develop tools and automation to improve monitoring, reconciliation, reporting, and trading operations
  • Maintain operational procedures and controls for production trading
  • Participate in local trading coverage and rotating weekend coverage

Key requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in electronic trading, trade support, trading operations, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of electronic trading, order lifecycle, positions, P&L, and risk
  • Ability to troubleshoot calmly in a fast-moving production environment
  • Strong Python or scripting skills; SQL experience preferred
  • Experience with large trading or market datasets
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
